Attractors

Repeat a two line sum a few million times, plot every answer, and a shape appears. Drag the numbers to bend it, or turn the three dimensional ones with a finger.

Tone and motion

A pixel hit a million times and one hit twice are both drawn, which only works if brightness follows the logarithm of the count rather than the count. Brightness sets where white begins and faint trails decides how far down into the thin outer filaments the picture reaches.

Detail

Automatic starts low and climbs as far as the frame rate allows. The picture keeps sharpening for as long as nothing moves, because every frame adds its points to the ones already there instead of starting a new drawing.
