Tyrian 2000
Jason Emery's vertical shooter, 1995, with Daniel Cook's art and Alexander Brandon's music, published by Epic MegaGames; this is the 1999 edition with the fifth episode. The whole game, not an episode: its author gave it away in 2004, and it runs here in DOSBox compiled to WebAssembly on the files he released.

Tyrian 2000 is Eclipse Software's, copyright 1999, Jason Emery's company; the 2000 edition was published by XSIV Games, which is gone. Jason Emery released the game as freeware in 2004 and wrote that everyone should feel free to play it and share it; the copy is the one camanis.net has carried since, the one the OpenTyrian project points to, and the files are in the bundle unchanged. Where every game in the arcade comes from, with its terms, is on the arcade page.
